George A. Wright can provide you with a complete solution to your fabrication requirements. Our quality management system is accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and our welding shop is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) per the CSA W47.1 & W47.2 standard. Further, most of our welders and weld processes are also certified by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA).

All of our weldments can be checked by CGSB level II NDE technicians.  We routinely conduct VT, PT, MT, UT and RT inspections of our weldments as required by customer specification.

Our certified welders have significant experience and qualifications welding a variety of materials:

  • Pressure Vessel Quality plate (516 GR 70)
  • Chromoly (387 GR 11, 387 GR 22)

  • Matensitic Stainless Steel Grades (Type 410)
  • Dissimilar Materials (carbon steel to stainless)
  • Inconel
  • Also experienced with welding cast components, aluminum and alloy steels

Our fabrication shop is over 26,000 sq. ft. with crane capacity to 70 tons and a hook height of 32’ there are very few projects that are out of reach for us.  Structural steel bases, plate weldments from 1/8” up to 10” thick, part refurbishment and repair – please challenge us with your next project.

From material procurement through forming, fitting, welding, NDE, post weld heat treatment to grit blast and paint – George A. Wright & Son can handle your fabrication from start to finish.  If the weldment requires machining and assembly we can also handle that under one roof as well.  We allow you to simplify your supply chain by dealing with one supplier for a component from start to finish.
